We thank Jay Leno for his support of lean and green, proper waste disposal, and his “plug” for ultrasonic cleaning.
A number of people have sent an article by Jay, some in the spirit of we being on the right track, and some saying that we are late to market. Your can read that article in the September issue of Popular Mechanics “Leno’s Garage: Clean and Green.”
I raise the question though of “What if Jay Leno owned a factory?”
My guess is that he would not spend a 1/2 hour or so waiting while his parts were being cleaned. He would probably need dozens of machines, and dozens of people to tend the machines like he has.
So if he had to clean 40,000 pushrods a day, instead of 40, what are his choices?

We now are moved into our new building.
It is a nearly new 5000 square feet building which will be used as our dedicated demonstration and technical facility, as well as temporary "World Headquarters". We expect to grow and grow, but this will be our long term home and "techno-haus" facility.
Thanks to the people that have helped along the way, and believe in what Flo-Matic has to offer for "Lean and Green" thinking manufacturers.
The logical place for Flo-matic might be Southern California where environmental imperatives are highly visible and manufacturing compliance is becoming a difficult task.
Instead
Outside of being home for us, we think the Midwest should and will lead the way to "Clean" manufacturing techniques before our environmental imperatives become top of mind concerns.
